As I mentioned in yesterday's APA teleconference: https://www.w3.org/2017/03/22-apa-minutes.html#item09 There is a proposal for new work on WebVR at W3C. This follows the WebVR workshop last year: https://www.w3.org/2016/06/vr-workshop/report.html and the work of a WebVR Community Group: https://www.w3.org/community/webvr/ which has prepared several resources in their GitHub repository, including a WebVR explainer: https://github.com/w3c/webvr/blob/master/explainer.md and WebVR proposed specification: https://w3c.github.io/webvr/spec/latest/ As you can see in the workshop report, there are known accessibility implications for WebVR, and a need for us to engage effectively on the work as it develops. This message is to alert the APA WG to this work and to request initial thoughts. I hope to arrange a joint meeting between the APA WG and participants from the WebVR CG in the near future to ramp up our knowledge and identify steps we should take. Michael
