Florian, Tab, I am following up on this discussion between CSS working group and APA today. Per the call we understand work has been done on extensible media queries. Even though they will not appear in CSS Media Queries 4 we would like to be able to prototype a solution, using extended media queries, to create a plugin for the digital publishing industry that allows a user to expose extended descriptions through the use of extended media query features with the intent of defining formal user preference media query features in the future. Do you have a draft of a specification that shows this and do any of the browsers, like Canary, have this implemented? Thanks, Rich Schwerdtfeger
