+1, with the non-blocking addition that there are two things that I'd really like to see added to the document in its next, or a near-future, revision: 1. There's a lot of examples of things that this technology _could_ do for accessibility in the document. They are good examples, but what seems missing is explicit consideration of how we could verify that AI is actually capable of doing such things - how are we going to benchmark it? (This is something that other parts of W3C are looking at, but mentioning it here I think is really important.) 2. Equally, some consideration of issues such as the time at which the AI is run (authoring vs run-time), and the implications on its efficacy, and efficiency, would be good. And definitely to mention and cross-reference concepts such as burden shifting (which Jason's work taught me about) that came up when RQTF provided input to the Ethical Principles of Web Machine Learning document - and that term specifically has its own section in that document: https://www.w3.org/TR/webmachinelearning-ethics/#fnd-r7 Matthew Atkinson Head of Web Standards Samsung R&D Institute UK Samsung Electronics +44 7733 238 020 Samsung R&D Institute (SRUK), Communications House, South Street, Staines-upon-Thames, Surrey, TW18 4QE.
