Subject: Call for Consensus (CfC): Establish the Maturity Model Task Force

Colleagues:

This is a Call for Consensus (CfC) to the Accessible Platform
Architectures (APA) Working Group proposing establishing a Maturity
Model Task Force under APA. Since APA adopted this work early in 2022 it
has functioned as a subgroup of our Research Questions Task Force
(RQTF).

The Work Statement describing this proposed Task Force is available here:

https://www.w3.org/WAI/APA/task-forces/maturity-model/work-statement

This Work Statement was developed by the Maturity Model subgroup over
recent weeks and was approved for this formal Call for Consensus by APA
during its regular weekly teleconference on Wednesday 18 January as
logged here:

https://www.w3.org/2023/01/11-apa-minutes.html#t02

As always with APA CfCs, editorial corrections, such as spelling or
grammar, will be made as needed without further notice. Please do draw
our attention to any editorial issues you find in this draft.

***Action to Take***

This CfC is now open for objection, comment, as well as statements of
support via email. Silence will be interpreted as support, though
messages of support are certainly welcome.

If you object to this proposed action, or have comments concerning this
proposal, please respond by replying on list to this message no later
than 23:59 (Midnight) Boston Time, Friday 3 February.

NOTE: This Call for Consensus is being conducted in accordance with the
APA Decision Policy published at:
