Betreff: 48-Hour Call for Consensus (CfC): Grant updated working draft
publication rights to our Task Forces

Colleagues:

This is a Call for Consensus (CfC) to the Accessible Platform Architectures
(APA) Working Group proposing that our several duly constituted Task Forces
receive permission to publish updated working drafts of their documents
without prior authorization from APA.

It is intended this authorization will cover publications of:

The Personalization Task Force

The Pronunciation Task Force

The Research Questions Task Force (RQTF)

Please note that APA's authorization for any First Public Working Draft
(FPWD) publication would still require APA's prior authorization, as would
publication of any final Note or any normative publication advancing to
Candidate Recommendation (CR) status or beyond.

***Action to Take***

This CfC is now open for objection, comment, as well as statements of
support via email. Silence will be interpreted as support, though messages
of support are certainly welcome.

If you object to this proposed action, or have comments concerning this
proposal, please respond by replying on list to this message no later than
23:59 (Midnight) Boston Time, Wednesday 29 January.

NOTE: This Call for Consensus is being conducted in accordance with the APA
Decision Policy published at:

http://www.w3.org/WAI/APA/decision-policy
