Re: 48-Hour Call for Consensus (CfC): Two COGA FPWDs

+1. This is a great document for laying out the concerns for people with cognitive disabilities. I’ve seen these concepts scattered across various web sites, but it is nice to have them summarized in a single document.

    This is a Call for Consensus (CfC) to the Accessible Platform
    Architectures (APA) Working Group to publish two First Public Working
    Draft (FPWD) documents from the Cognitive and Learning Disabilities
    Accessibility Task Force (COGA) as scoped in the COGA Work Statement
    available at:

    http://www.w3.org/WAI/PF/cognitive-a11y-tf/work-statement

    Because COGA is a joint Task Force of both the AG and APA Working
    Groups, a parallel CfC is being independently conducted by the AG-WG.
    Members of both Working Groups should, therefore, participate in both
    calls.

    * Documents to be Published as FPWD

    * Background

    This CfC is the result of the Call for Review issued by both AG and APA
    on 20 March last. It is being promolgated at this time because no
    substantive issues were raised as a result of that review announcement.
    The APA review request is archived at:

    http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-apa/2017Mar/0017.html

    Editorial issues communicated in response to this Call for Review will
    be addressed in a later editorial pass.

    *       ACTION TO TAKE

    This CfC is now open for objection, comment, as well as statements of
    support via email. Silence will be interpreted as support, though
    messages of support are certainly welcome.

    If you object to this proposed action, or have comments concerning this
    proposal, please respond by replying on list to this message no later
    than 23:59 (Midnight) Boston Time, Tuesday 18 April.
