hi Ivan, i thought i'd mention that we are creating a document that will hopefully help working groups do self-review or at least think about i18n issues as they develop the spec. It's not to replace the i18n review, but may lead to various items being identified and fixed long before the review (as well as general education for the WG). It occurs to me that it may be useful for you chaps to review the checklist even while we are doing the review, since you may spot things that we don't. Would you like to give it a try? The checklist is here: https://www.w3.org/International/techniques/developing-specs?collapse As i mentioned, it is still in development. Mostly that means that there are other things to consider that aren't in the list, but it may also mean that we need to discuss certain guidelines. Given its status, it may help us as well as helping you if you were to run through it. What do you think? ri On 31/03/2016 13:11, Ivan Herman wrote: > Dear Addison, Richard, > > the Web Annotation WG has just published three working drafts: > > Web Annotation Data Model > URI:http://www.w3.org/TR/2016/WD-annotation-model-20160331/ > > Web Annotation Vocabulary > URI:http://www.w3.org/TR/2016/WD-annotation-vocab-20160331/ > > Web Annotation Protocol > URI:http://www.w3.org/TR/2016/WD-annotation-protocol-20160331/ > > these documents are in what I would call "pseudo/virtual Last Call". > Virtual, because, per process, there is no such thing asa Last Call WD > any more; and pseudo, because there may be some minor technical changes > still, but nothing fundamental. > > These are the three documents that the WG intends to publish as a > Recommendation.
