http://www.w3.org/TR/annotation-model/#fragment-selector has a table Fragment Specification that gives the list of conformsTo URLs. It would be appreciated if a column "Use For" is added to explain when to use the corresponding conformsTo URL, without having to read the corresponding RFC (or http://www.w3.org/TR/fragid-best-practices/). In order, the description could be something like this: - element with xml:id or HTML id in XML/HTML - page, named destination or view in PDF - character or line range in plain text - XPointer selector in XML And I think the conformsTo URL should be changed to http://www.w3.org/TR/xptr, because https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc3023#section-5 doesn't say much - entity described in an RDF document << - spatio-temporal sections in multimedia - region or view in SVG Cheers!
