Model WD Status update

A quick update about the WD status for the next iteration of the model
document:

Due to various other work commitments involving travel, I haven't completed
the rewrite of the model and protocol drafts yet as I had hoped to.

The current work in progress is:

You'll see significant simplification in the text, structure, examples and
discussion.
