Introduction

Hi everyone,

I am Janina Sarol, a visiting research programmer at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I work with Tim Cole in the University Library, and he invited me to join the working group as we are looking to add annotation features to one of our projects.

I am quite new to the world of web annotations, and I am hoping to contribute to implementations of the protocol. I am currently working on an implementation of the web annotation protocol in CouchDB. I am using initial work done by Benjamin Young (LDP on CouchDB), who I met during this year's IAnnotate Conference, as the starting point for this project.
