Hi, Web Annotation WG– As you may have heard, there was a temporary disruption in the Annotator service on the Web Annotation Data Model spec. The W3C Systems Team wanted an opportunity to do a technical review for security and privacy. There was also concern that people would not realize that they needed to use their WebPlatform.org login credentials, rather than their W3C credentials. We made several changes that make it more obvious that the annotation service is provided by WebPlatform.org, and have now re-enabled the service. We will continue to address any other security, privacy, or usability issues with the service going forward, including more review by W3C staff. In short: you can now annotate the spec again, and your feedback on improving the spec or the annotator is welcome! Regards– –Doug
