heads up: Since there's been no movement on the alreq doc for about a year, i will today begin tidying it up editorially. This will involve removing the notes and issues and any empty sections. I'll capture those in a separate document or perhaps an issue for future reference. Many of our issues, however, contain useful information, examples, and discussions that are not currently reflected in alreq. I will think about how to add pointers to relevant issues in alreq until such time as we can port the information to alreq from the issue. Once we have a clean document, i'll republish it to the TR space, so that the ED and WD are in synch. At some point, it may be appropriate to publish the document as a WG Note (which can be updated at any time thereafter). But that may need some further deliberations about whether additional information should be added to alreq first. cheers, ri
