dear webreq, The i18n WG would like to publish the following document as FPWD on behalf of the Arabic Layout Task Force. Text Layout Requirements for the Arabic Script URL: https://www.w3.org/TR/2018/WD-alreq-20180222/ EPD: 22 February 2018 Description This document describes requirements for the layout and presentation of text in languages that use the Arabic script when they are used by Web standards and technologies, such as HTML, CSS, Mobile Web, Digital Publications, and Unicode. Transition req approval pending I ran the document through the HTML & CSS validators, link checker and pubrules, and i think it's ok. There were 626 errors in the HTML validator, but that is a bug in the validator (which doesn't recognise the -t extension in BCP47 - gh issue raised). cheers, ri
