I have been after folks at Google as well as Microsoft to: a) help U.S. federal agencies comply with section 10 of the GPRA Modernization Act, which directs them, by law, to publish their strategic plans and performance reports in open, standard, machine-readable format, like StratML; b) extend that good practice not only to agencies at all levels of government, worldwide, but also to all organizations whose plans and reports should be matters of public record, e.g., regulated industries (AI developers?) and tax-favored organizations. If you have any evidence to suggest they are doing so, I'd love to see it. Meanwhile, it seems to me that the incumbent powers-that-be have little interest in pursuing creative alternatives to good, old-fashioned business (#gofbau) and politics as usual (#gofpau). Why should they ... unless they fear being creatively destroyed by more enlightened entrepreneurs? Yes, the advances in AI technology are amazing. However, aside from the hints about agentic AI, nothing in this particular video showed me anything about how Google plans to enable its users to more efficiently and effectively connect with each other to achieve their common and complementary objectives. Lacking such capabilities, it seem that we are likely to keep talking past each other ... and getting nowhere fast.
