Thank you all for the discussion I may have missed some threads as I am actually off for the summer *my dad passed away in July, and it has been a shock to the system I am picking myself up for small bits from time to time David B, thanks for initiating this thread Patrick, I am glad to see you are now wearing the AI KR hat , frame the role for W3C , and have a plan! And you collaborate with NIST Do you interact with the other orgs you mention in your email, or can we think of ways of engaging them on this? Sebastian S I see you have shared a roadmap does it relate to this discussion/thread *or not ? would be good to have a roadmap for what is being discussed here if you are focused on roadmapping @Kasprzik, Argie <A.Kasprzik@zbw.eu> and Dave R - I can see how sometimes researching human intelligence as a model and developing intelligent architectures that adopt these models can overlap, I think we can aim to gain better insights into either/both Everyone please note that a) we have a wiki to enter *concise notes and links https://www.w3.org/community/aikr/wiki/Main_Page *may need updating b) we have booked a slot @TPAC 2025, and we may want to convene before/during/after to advance some of the discussions. Please continue to elaborate! https://www.w3.org/community/aikr/wiki/AI_KR_CG_@TPAC_2025 Anyone in attendance? *I ll attend remotely, most likely At the moment we are shaping vocabularies and metadata sets, to capture AI KR domain knowledge, **links reposted from previous threads* *Here a narration video for the slides that explains them* *https://drive.google.com/file/d/1uZAw90qx1tPDbnVfGBSRCK260q-i8tzI/view?usp=sharing <https://drive.google.com/file/d/1uZAw90qx1tPDbnVfGBSRCK260q-i8tzI/view?usp=sharing>* *Here the slides where you may be able to open the links* *https://drive.google.com/file/d/1uZAw90qx1tPDbnVfGBSRCK260q-i8tzI/view?usp=sharing <https://drive.google.com/file/d/1uZAw90qx1tPDbnVfGBSRCK260q-i8tzI/view?usp=sharing>* I feel that what we have in hand is challenging enough for the moment and non trivial nonetheless a useful enough starting point, and great to have the long term vision for this work if we can get useful resources *say a set of vocabularies out, and we have enough people willing to commit to CG, whatever comes next is going to be up to us This CG counts on you all I look forward to be settina up in person calls starting from mid Sept onwards I ll try to pin everybody's timezone by then Thank you Best Pdm On Wed, Aug 6, 2025 at 8:44 PM Dave Raggett <dsr@w3.org> wrote: > > > On 6 Aug 2025, at 12:09, Kasprzik, Argie <A.Kasprzik@zbw.eu> wrote: > > from my perspective we should definitely NOT focus on mimicking human > learning / behaviour but focus on creating AI solutions that solve specific > specialized tasks. > > > That’s sounds like you’re confusing research and development.
