LAMs vs LLM

Let me ask, just in case
Have not yet had time to study the paper
can anyone figure out exactly how a LAM is different from a LLM
technically (in the architecture) citing source, are there other papers
about LAMs, or is it just a fancy trendy name for something tha we know
already
