Owen and all It pains me to read that nurses, in UK and elsewhere, are told not to wear masks and some die, some resign (search google for Coronavirus nurse resign and you ll pull up cases from UK and US, maybe elsewhere) This is a disgrace, on top of the disaster- I dont think nurses should resign, they should simply wear the masks and other PPE and get on with their work - If necessary, wait to be sanctioned or sacked and then take legal action Organisations have obligations under labour law and other legislation to protect their staff and patients against occupational hazards I wonder if Stratml could help to align organisational statements of individual rogue hospitals and their managers with the safety laws and various standards already in the public domain to make the case explicit that they cannot ask nurses to remove masks (it is against the law to ask staff to do something against safety) in fact they should provide masks and request all staff to wear them, leavin those who refuse to do that the discretion not to wear them - *Obligation, Ought to* However as far as I am aware in hospitals staff especially in operating theaters etc are not at liberty not to follow the health and safety procedures in place, So much nonsense going on PDM
