Welcome Newcomers and thank you to group members who have updated the wiki Our shared notes are a bit out of date, but I have entered some updates Please put links to your shared stuff, or help to populate and sort existing resources https://www.w3.org/community/aikr/wiki/Main_Page#AI_KR_.28Artificial_Intelligence_Knowledge_Representation.29_Community_Group_Wiki a brief recap: - in the current AI frenzy, only appropriate KR mechanisms can help to sort the chaff out this group has an opportunity to make a valuable contribution to the future direction for AI - what are appropriate KR mechanisms for contemporary AI? (discuss!!) - started a KR library on Zotero thanks to Michael Bergman for populating it now we need to sort the folders in some way that makes sense (prepare to fight?) https://www.zotero.org/groups/2351244/knowledge_representation/items/collectionKey/3ERGMT9V - two topics I am working on are KR for AI Commons and KR for Brain Informatics For the former I have created a shared draft doc (linked in the wiki) the latter I am working on a non shared draft, but if anyone wants to collaborate, ping me - I am running around a bit (admittedly, mostly on beaches) and getting tired. Not sure I ll manage to reach TPAC alive and kicking, but since we have 28 ppls already signed up, it may be preferable if someone in attendance can chair locally and we can attend remotely. I ll send out a call to registered attendees to co-chair, if necessary I ll fly over just for the day (I am not far) The purpose of the session at TPAC is to engage with the wider W3C community on AI KR topics as well as anything folks like to bring to the table I am sure there is more? Thanks, best PDM
