Re: changing this group from CG to IG

Please look at the links I provided. Ian is indeed correct noting that Interest Groups don’t develop specifications for the W3C Recommendation track - that’s what Working Groups are for. Community Groups on the other hand can provide a forum for incubating specifications prior to transfer to a Working Group.  The W3C Process and Patent Policy sets out more details, see:
