Milton, no, I don’t have any particular insight to AI strategies compiled by other countries. However, this Google site-specific query <https://www.google.com/search?ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&q=AI&btnG=Google+Search&domains=stratml.us&sitesearch=stratml.us> of the StratML collection turns up about 157 hits on “AI”. To the extent that time permits, I’d like to convert additional AI strategies to StratML format as well, e.g., Canada’s. https://www.cifar.ca/ai/pan-canadian-artificial-intelligence-strategy However, it would be good if others could help render them in open, standard, machine-readable format. This Google query <https://www.google.com/search?q=national+AI+strategies&rlz=1C1CHFX_enUS719US719&oq=national+AI+strategies&aqs=chrome..69i57.11223j1j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8> turns up more than 82 million hits on “national AI strategies”. Here’s the top hit: https://medium.com/politics-ai/an-overview-of-national-ai-strategies-2a70ec6edfd See also https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/i-only-had-brain-evolving-prefrontal-core-text-internet-owen-ambur/ Owen From: ProjectParadigm-ICT-Program <metadataportals@yahoo.com> Sent: Tuesday, January 15, 2019 9:00 AM To: Owen Ambur <Owen.Ambur@verizon.net>; public-aikr@w3.org Subject: Re: C4DI AI Strategy for the U.S. Dear Owen, Thanks for this update. My question: do you have any knowledge of comparable guidelines for other countries for review? Since AI like the internet knows no boundaries, all standards and guidelines at national levels have to become compatible. E.g. do you know of any comparable guidelines in Australia, UK, Canada and New Zealand and the European Union? BTW, perhaps I may be wrong but it seems to me that attempting to constrain AI by geopolitical boundaries is not only artificially ignorant <https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/artificial-ignorance-owen-ambur/> but, ultimately, also an exercise in futility.
