Hi - A few words about me, Chris Harding. I was for many years a staff member of The Open Group, supporting the work of its members on a variety of topics, including semantic interoperability. At the end of last year I left the Open Group's employ and formed a new company, Lacibus Ltd, to provide services based on virtual data lakes and data-centered architecture. The goal of the group is adventurous, but it may be that the time has come when we can start to do useful work that could lead to standards for knowledge exchange, so all credit to Paola for setting up a forum to exchange ideas! The approach that I would like to follow is to consider knowledge as a property of a community, rather than an individual (though we might think of an individual as a special case: a community of one). This has in the past been captured, not only in the minds of community members, but also in shared artifacts - particularly books. Now it is increasingly stored in IT systems, and this is the area that we will focus on. I look forward to participating in the work of the group.
