Okay. Was there simply a lack of interest, or did the CG decide that there were already too many other efforts in the space? Here are the ones I know of: 1. A number of agriculture-related ontologies on this website: http://agroportal.lirmm.fr/ontologies 2. AgGateway’s SPADE initiative http://www.aggateway.org/eConnectivityActivities/Implementation/SPADEPrecisionAg.aspx 3. Open Ag Data Alliance (https://github.com/oada) 4. Climate Corp’s Open Platform Strategy (https://agfundernews.com/climate-corps-open-platform-future-ag-data.html?utm_source=AgFunder+Updates&utm_campaign=0eac4cba12-Feb01_2017&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_7b0bb00edf-0eac4cba12-98404577) 5. SST’s agX platform: http://www.agxplatform.com So, there’s certainly no shortage of work in this space, but there is overlap in centralized ontologies and there are several efforts not standardizing resources at all, let alone things like actions. -- Best, Julianne Bielski Chief Technology Officer, RxMaker Phone: 919-572-0200 x106 Email: jbielski@rxmaker.com From: Kiura Takuji <kiura@affrc.go.jp> Organization: National Agriculture and Food Research Organization Date: Sunday, February 4, 2018 at 8:13 PM To: "public-agri@w3.org" <public-agri@w3.org> Subject: Re: still active?
