Co-Chairs Selected (was: Re: Introducing myself and a chair selection process

Hi all,

The deadline has passed and we had two nominations for the initial co-charis: Kiura-san and me.

Given that we had less than four candidates, let’s get started with these two co-chairs following our chair selection process rule.

I’ll be soon talking with Kiura-san to create a draft image of our initial outputs, which we’ll share and discuss on the ML later.

I’m really glad to work with Kura-san and you all on this interesting topic!

Regards,
Yosuke

I've been co-chairing the Web and TV IG and the Web and Broadcasting BG, while, at the same time, contributing to other groups as the Web Media Specialist. I'm not an expert of the agricultural industry but have expertise on running groups through interaction with industry stakeholders to make good use of the Web standard and foster its further development. Currently, I'm interested in involving a couple of new industries into the Web standardization; Agriculture is the top most area among them. I promise to do all I can for to make the group as effective and enjoyable as it can be.

I'd like to suggest we take an open process to do it: anybody in the CG can nominate any number of people including oneself on this ML by the end of January 30 (Boston time.) If we get less than four co-chairs, all of the nominated people will be co-chairs. Otherwise, we'll talk about what we should do: vote to reduce the number of co-chairs or just keep all nominated people as co-chairs. If you have any questions or thoughts about this process, please let me know.
