AI Agent Protocol CG meeting minutes — September 23, 2026

The minutes from the AI Agent Protocol CG meeting held on September 23,
2026, are now available. Please review them and share any corrections or

We reviewed the ANP adoption tracker and discussed opportunities for
open-source and interoperability contributions. Song also outlined a
proposed joint session with the WebAgents CG at TPAC in Dublin; the session
plan remains under discussion.

Gaowei presented three topics for the next phase of protocol work:
streaming HTTP authentication, mutual DID authentication, and combining DID
identity with OAuth authorization. These are discussion proposals, not
finalized protocol decisions. The proposed streaming authentication work is
not included in the imminent ANP open-source release.

The adoption tracker and bilingual proposal slides are attached. We welcome
comments on the minutes, the proposals, and possible interoperability tests.
