Adaptation and Personalization Community Group, Hello. I was asked to forward an invitation to an upcoming IEEE workgroup meeting which could be relevant to your interests. You are invited to attend the IEEE Adaptive Instructional Systems Interoperability (IEEE P2247.2) workgroup meeting this Friday May 8 at 10 am Eastern Time. (Currently meeting on the 2nd Friday of each month.) Meeting link: https://ieeesa.webex.com/ieeesa/j.php?MTID=m5785fe02d5c933efcc5a0e38f3553691 The working group is nearing completion of the draft standard and seeking additional review from the AIS / Intelligent Tutoring Systems community. The standard includes a proposed data model for interoperability of learner state data and use of existing standards for interoperability between components of AISs, including AI adaptive engines, content (learning activities, domain info, pedagogical info, etc), learning experience and learner state data stores, and interfaces. Title: Interoperability Standards for Adaptive Instructional Systems (AISs) Scope: This standard defines interactions and exchanges among the components of adaptive instructional systems (AISs). This standard defines the data and data structures used in these interactions and exchanges and parameters used to describe and measure them and establishes requirements and guidance for the use and measurement of the data, data structures, and parameters. See: https://sagroups.ieee.org/p2247-2/ Participants become members of the workgroup and have confidential access to the draft standard for review. Participants may become voting members of the workgroup by attending at least 2 of the prior 4 meetings. Best regards, Adam Sobieski
