Dear participants of the Accessibility for Children Community Group, I understand you have a lot of work at the moment, but, as you probably noticed, our community group is about to close due to inactive status. The group has been very active for a few years, and it was a pleasure for me to meet and collaborate with you. The work of the W3C Accessibility for Children Community Group remains a unique and vital initiative in the field of inclusive design. As accessibility for children continues to be an area with significant unmet needs, there is a valuable opportunity to rekindle this group’s efforts and build on its foundational work. I would be delighted to exchange best practices, collaborate on new ideas, or explore ways to give this important topic a second life. Whether through renewed discussions, updated guidelines, or fresh community engagement, there is much we can achieve together. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you are interested in contributing, sharing insights, or helping to revitalize this community’s mission. Looking forward to your thoughts and ideas!
