 Happy New Year from The Accessibility for Children Community Group!

 We are so thankful for a fruitful 2023, and all of the hard work and assistance from our group’s members and the members of other W3C community groups and task forces.  

 This year our group was able to come together and provide 
 * 

 An Accessibility in K12 Education short paper (https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Is8J7WxsLqhJmf0HsLznJgCscudgwD-_/edit?usp=sharing&ouid=108892854808905139479&rtpof=true&sd=true) reviewing new regulations and laws in the United States regarding accessibility in Education Technology (EdTech).

 Use Cases and Feedback for the WAI-Adapt  (https://docs.google.com/document/d/18CDOklgwNYK2gILIz_IADeU_TiyQW6kuJWfP3Nhfk1c/edit?usp=sharing)Task Force 
 * 

 We contributed to the ‘Age Appropriate Digital Services Framework’ by CEN and CENELEC and IEEE (https://www.cencenelec.eu/news-and-events/news/2023/eninthespotlight/2023-09-14-cwa-18016-children-protection-online/). 
 * 

 And worked on Ethics of Interface as it applies to Accessibility for Children.
 Lastly, we are proposing a new logo below! Our new Logo pictures the Universal symbol for accessibility menu options in a child's size, flying a kite with three ribbons on the string.

 We are excited to continue this work in 2024!
