RE: Recommendations regarding digital/online games

Hi Alena,

We are really excited to hear about your project and goals. While games can meet WCAG 2.1, often more is needed for a level of accessibility that is comparable with Websites that meet WCAG 2.1. We would encourage you to join the group, to discuss opportunities to collaborate with the group or with its individual members. Perhaps your game could be a use case for techniques we are developing within the group!

You can join the group from this wiki page: https://www.w3.org/community/accessibility4children <https://www.w3.org/community/accessibility4children> . Please let us know if you run into any issues joining.

Cheers,

Suzanne and Maud

Subject: Recommendations regarding digital/online games

Hello,

I work for Health Canada and one of our priority audiences is children and youth.

We would like to create games or use gamification to communicate healthy eating to youth aged 6 to 17.

Did you have any good examples of WCAG compliant games or gamified content that you or your group may have come across in your travels?

Any help you can provide is appreciated.

Thank you!
Alena
