We will have a presentation by Maria Wünsche, research assistant at 
Hildesheim University in Germany and freelance captioner.

She recently finished her PhD on captioning for children  (between 8 and 
12 years old) who are D/deaf and hard of hearing.

For this project, she analysed the impact of different subtitling 
strategies (e.g. speed, text reduction, colours, etc.) on the overall 
comprehensibility of the audiovisual product.
