Please join us at 6pm at: Karl Strauss Brewing Company 9675 Scranton Rd. https://www.karlstrauss.com/visit/sorrento-mesa/ We do not have an overall sponsor for dinner, and the restaurant will not run separate tabs for a group this size. Accordingly, we're on our own for splitting the bill. They will take multiple methods of payment, so you can pay a share on a credit card. Do not let financial considerations keep you from joining us (grad students, listen up!) - just let me know, and I'll make sure your share is covered. Transit: it's walkable from here, and Uber and Lyft are abundant. The Hyatt House shuttle is (last I checked) available from the hotel at or before 530pm, but not after. Coming back, the Hyatt shuttle will pick up a group (of up to 7) at 8pm. They are also available at 730pm if anyone wants to bail that early. The restaurant closes at 9pm. (I will be walking over directly from here, stopping at Staples on the way.) -- Sam
