Hello Chairs, and the chairs of MWIBP, RIF, WAI, SWDWG, UWA, and XML Activity, as well as the TAG and PICS IG, The POWDER Working Group has been developing a suite of documents that specify a protocol for publishing descriptions of Web resources. On behalf of the Chair of, I am excited to announce that the POWDER Working Group has agreed [1] to publish the three Recommendation track documents in this suite as Last Call Working Drafts: * POWDER: Formal Semantics http://www.w3.org/TR/2008/WD-powder-formal-20080815/ * POWDER: Description Resources http://www.w3.org/TR/2008/WD-powder-dr-20080815/ * POWDER: Grouping of Resources http://www.w3.org/TR/2008/WD-powder-grouping-20080815/ The Last Call review period is until 14 September 2008, and we would look forward to all and any feedback, but particularly seek opinions on the following: * use of arbitrary RDF in POWDER documents * HTTP Link header usage * defining wdrs:issuedby as a subproperty of both foaf:maker and dcterms:creator The Working Group has also published two Working Drafts that are expected to become Working Group Notes: * POWDER: Primer http://www.w3.org/TR/2008/WD-powder-primer-20080815/ * POWDER: Test Suite http://www.w3.org/TR/2008/WD-powder-test-20080815/ We welcome feedback on these important new publications as well. Finally, we are pleased to announce that registration is now open for the latest POWDER outreach event called More of What You Want, When You Want It. Please join WG members and invited guests to discuss what POWDER offers to the traditional and Semantic Webs.
