Hi there, the http-core specs create a new HTTP field registry (previously shared with email & others). In the IANA instructions (<https://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-ietf-httpbis-semantics-06#section-14.4>) we specify how existing entries will be mapped to the two states that we define ("permanent" and "provisional"). We recently noted that we forgot one existing category: "reserved". After discussion in <https://github.com/httpwg/http-core/issues/273>, we decided to map that to "permanent". An alternative would have been to create a new status "reserved". Feedback appreciated, Julian
