Hi there,

the http-core specs create a new HTTP field registry (previously shared
with email & others). In the IANA instructions
(<https://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-ietf-httpbis-semantics-06#section-14.4>)
we specify how existing entries will be mapped to the two states that we
define ("permanent" and "provisional").

We recently noted that we forgot one existing category: "reserved".
After discussion in <https://github.com/httpwg/http-core/issues/273>, we
decided to map that to "permanent". An alternative would have been to
create a new status "reserved".

Feedback appreciated,

Julian
