Personally, I'm much more optimistic than Koen as far as the
timescale for proposed standards in the area of capability negotiation.

All it takes is a focused editing group. I think we should plan
to have a BOF (or even a working group meeting) on content negotiation
for the December IETF.

It seems critical to get this down, not only for HTTP extensions,
but for several other protocols (Internet Fax, for example).
