whether or not there are reserved paths for HTTP, I don't think it is a topic for the HTTP working group or an aspect of the HTTP protocol, any more than the RFC on 'commonly used email addresses' (postmaster@blah, info@blah, etc.) is an aspect of SMTP or the RFC on 'frequently used host names' (news.domain, www.domain, etc.) is an aspect of the DNS protocol. So: out of scope. Take it elsewhere. Write an Internet Draft and try to go for 'informational RFC' outside of this group. Larry -- http://www.parc.xerox.com/masinter
