I am trying to enforce some process requirements. As I tried to indicate earlier, please do not submit drafts to "Internet-Drafts" without checking: Documents are only accepted as working group drafts after there's been some general agreement that we are considering the issue. Document authors must commit to responding to critiques of the wording in the document and revising the group's documents in a timely fashion, and summarize the changes as documents get revised. Unless there are extenuating circumstances, document editors are expected to attend IETF meetings. I believe that the issue Phill is trying to address is an important one, and would personally support that we take up this question soon. I'm more concerned that we do so with foreknowledge, a full consideration of the problems that we're solving, some coordination with other efforts, and a commitment to actually participate in the process. If you have any questions or protests, please let me know. Larry
