If you want to stick extra decorations around your locator that isn't part of the URL, do it inside POST data and don't use METHOD=GET. If you want to stick it in the URL itself, it has to be in the URL itself. Sticking the information anywhere else completely obliterates any of the reasons for using GET instead of POST.
