I just finished reading <draft-ietf-http-v10-spec-00.ps>, dated March 8, 1995,
and found it to be a very understandable document for the most part. However,
I don't understand this sentence in the second paragraph of section 11.2:
The link "click here to subscribe" -- causing the reading of a special
"magic" document -- is open to abuse by others making a link "click
here to see a pretty picture."
Perhaps my confusion is due to the first paragraph which encourages clients
to behave responsibly. If I understand correctly GET and HEAD are interpreted
by the server, so the client can't misuse them?
You may want to clarify this issue for the next revision of the document.
