        This is specified with a "null" workspace selector, i.e.:

Urgh, you mean specifying "Workspace: " means interpret as a stable URL, but 
absence of the header means use the default workspace.  I'd rather see 
something more explicit, such as 'meta', or (I hesitate to suggest) another 
header.
