Subject: Delta V work

I strongly believe that the IETF should approve DeltaV work and I want to
let you know that I will certainly participate and actively contribute to
this group. I recently made the decision to help with the design team and I
am very excited to have the opportunity to help out.

Versioning and configuration management of content have long been seen as
valuable (if not critical) technologies. But it has always been
proprietary, expensive and a nightmare to implement. By implementing these
technologies using standards such as HTTP and XML, the work of Delta-V has a
real chance of laying the infrastructure for real collaborative authoring on
the Web.

I am looking forward to working on this and helping out however I can.
