I think I wasn't exactly clear: W3C would be glad to have http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/ietf-charsets/ be designated as the official archive. As far as I'm aware of, we made sure that we had all the mails from the start of the list when we set up the archive. Regards, Martin.
