UTF-7 RFC need revision? from David Goldsmith on 1997-09-16 (ietf-charsets@w3.org from July to September 1997)

Hi,

I notice that the UTF-8 RFC has been revised to contain information about 
the versioning issues with Unicode. I submitted a new RFC to register 
UTF-7 several months ago, but the registration hasn't happened due to 
revisions in the IANA process. I was wondering if I need to revise this 
RFC in the same way that the UTF-8 RFC has been revised?
