I agree or course that there should be consensus between all subgroups at the end. My remark concerned the time-frame: I am pretty sure that the content negotiation subgroup will be able to give the caching subgroup some summary of its views on content negotiation with respect to caching at a date before Feb 2, when the caching subgroup has its meeting. I do not know yet whether the content negotiation subgroup a) understands and b) agrees with my proposal. Therefore, I'd rather not discuss differences, similarities, and orthogonality of the three different Vary proposals on the main list right now. However, if discussion does start on the main list, I will certainly join in. Koen.
