Meeting date is set: Friday, Feb. 2, 1996

Because several people cannot make it on Feb. 1, and nobody has
registered a firm objection to Feb. 2, our meeting will be held
on Friday, Feb. 2.

I'd like to start at 10:00 AM (PST), and run until about 5:00 PM.
People whose travel schedules conflict with that can arrive
late or leave early, but I think we need as much time as possible.

The meeting will be here at Digital's Western Research Lab (WRL).
WRL is located in downtown Palo Alto, about equidistant between
the San Francisco and San Jose airports (depending on traffic,
each is about 30 minutes away). We're a few blocks from the CalTrain
stop, and relatively accessible via other public transportation.
And we probably have sufficient parking in the building for anyone
who wants to drive.

PLEASE let me know if you are planning to attend, or would like
to attend, so that I can get a preliminary headcount (reply to
me, not to the entire list). Please also let me know if you
will need parking.

For those of you who cannot attend in person, but would like
to try to participate, we can set up a speakerphone. If there
are more than one of you who wants to dial in, I'll have to
try to set up a confernence call, so please let me know if
you are likely to do this.

Finally, if there are any of you who would like to participate
via an MBone channel, I'll try to find out if this is feasible.
But I won't do this unless someone expresses strong interest.
