Ummm, yes I can assert that, since all I was asserting is how I used the
term in my message and in the specs.  Since I failed to define it in the
specs, it seemed reasonable to define it now.  I am open to better
definitions, of course, and I agree with the definitions proposed for
history buffer in later messages.
