Hi Harlan, As Fred suggested it seems this is just the normal wrap of a line... As he suggests you can change the line length or run tidy with the option '-w 0' and it should produce one line... This option can also be written as '-wrap 0', or '--wrap 0', or put in a config file as 'wrap: 0'... Or instead of '0' you could use a value bigger than the desired line. IIRC the default is 68 - see http://api.html-tidy.org/tidy/quickref_next.html#wrap Hope this helps... Geoff.
