First of all, I have found that solution - but it does not work in my case. http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/html-tidy/2004JanMar/0126.html Right now I am using »HTML Tidy for Linux released on 25 March 2009«. I have been using tidy for many years, but everything worked fine until my tidy-configuration file got destroyed due to a harddisk failure. _____ indent: yes indent-spaces: 2 wrap: 66 markup: yes output-xml: no input-xml: no output-xhtml: yes show-warnings: yes numeric-entities: yes quote-marks: yes quote-nbsp: yes quote-ampersand: no break-before-br: no uppercase-tags: no uppercase-attributes: no bare: no tidy-mark: yes input-encoding: utf8 char-encoding: utf8 _____ As you can see I have tried adding »bare: no« to solve the problem, but it did not work. – or – still is being »cleaned« to a hyphen »-«. Greetings, Martin
