Could tidy handle an unknown tag?

for example:
in baidu.zhidao.com, the HTML contains some kinds of use-defined tag, <ca>
<cq> <cd>，
after tidy deal with it, the use-defined tag lost, but i want to keep it.
who can tell me how?
