Hi, thanks for Tidy source first. Here is a bug that I met. <font> </font> is containing <hr> tag, so Tidy made a correction. But a wrong space is inserted. Refer to the HTML source below. This bug is critical for DBCS char like Korean. Could you send me a hot fix or how to fix it for this? ==================== INPUT SOURCE ==================== <html> <body> <font face="Arial" size="3"> ABC <hr> TEST </font> </body> </html> ==================== OUTPUT RESULT ==================== E:\>tidy sample.htm Tidy (vers 4th August 2000) Parsing "sample.htm" line 2 column 1 - Warning: inserting missing 'title' element line 6 column 2 - Warning: missing </font> before <hr> line 7 column 1 - Warning: inserting implicit <font> sample.htm: Document content looks like HTML 3.2 3 warnings/errors were found! <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 3.2//EN"> <html> <head> <meta name="generator" content="HTML Tidy, see www.w3.org"> <title></title> </head> <body> <font face="Arial" size="3">ABC</font> <hr> <font face="Arial" size="3">T EST</font> </body> </html> You are recommended to use CSS to specify the font and properties such as its size and color. This will reduce the size of HTML files and make them easier maintain compared with using <FONT> elements.
