Thanks for the input. I tried your example with the latest
release of tidy and found the following error:

line 18 column 1 - Warning: missing <td>

The problem is an empty tr element:

  <table align="center" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="5"
  bgcolor="#EFEFEF" summary="">
  <tr>
  </tr>
