If you want valid Markup, yes. There's one real good way to find out these kinds of things without "guessing". Check out http://www.htmlhelp.com/tools/validator/ or http://validator.w3.org/ The first one has friendlier, more informative messages, and allows you to directly input your HTML, upload it from your hard drive, or even validate an entire site. /Jelks
